The Coronavirus (COVID-19) was first identified in Wuhan, China, and reported by the World Health Organization on Dec. 31, 2019. Since then, the virus has affected tens of thousands of people worldwide and posed significant risk to the global economy. The OBL and wider industry is closely monitoring the situation, and working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other partners to understand the impact of this outbreak on the private sector and how companies should consider their response.
The OBL's primary concern is for the health and safety of our members, communities and team members. Rest assured the OBL is implementing procedures to avoid any service disruptions for member banks and will continue to make decisions based on the best interests of the Ohio banking community.
All live education programming is postponed or moved online through April 2020. Check the OBL Calendar for specific event information. If you have already registered for one of these events, you will be contacted by an OBL staff member about next steps.
