Join OBL in "Race for the Cure"

The OBL is this year entering a team in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, May 18 in Columbus. The annual charity effort provides grant funding for breast cancer screenings, diagnostics, and treatment assistance, as well as potentially life-saving research. "This insidious disease has impacted thousands of Ohio bankers and their customers. This industry effort is for all of them," said OBL Employee Benefits Administrator Erin Husslein.

The Ohio State Bank's Deb Price, a two-time breast cancer survivor, has signed up to participate in this year's race. "People need to get involved because this disease affects so many people. It's a day (where) you can see others who know what it's like to be told, "You have breast cancer," and see the success stories and remember those who lost their fight. It's a great feeling to get involved."

Join Price and other bankers from around the state by participating this year. View the Susan G. Komen Web site to sign up or get more details. Just click on "Join Bankers for the Cure" on the right side of the page.
