Registration is now open for the OBL's 2018 OBL Economic Summit -- The New Tax Landscape -- scheduled for Feb. 7 in Columbus. This annual event is expected to once again draw more than 400 bankers, their best commercial clients and industry service providers.
Dr. Roger Tutterow, professor of Economics and director of The Econometric Center at Kennesaw State University, will be on tap with a roadmap for how federal tax reform legislation will impact Ohio banks and the Ohio economy.
“As this economic expansion approaches its 100th month, it is clearly maturing. However, expansions don’t die of old age – they die of bad policy, inventory overbuilds and asset bubbles,” said Tutterow. "The big x-factor however, is taxes and we wait with keen anticipation of what this new tax landscape will bring.”
Ohio Hospital Association President & CEO Michael Abrams will also be on hand to offer a timely update on the state of the hospital industry.
The OBL encourages members to again invite commercial lenders and business clients. Half tables for four and full tables of eight are available at a considerable savings. Register online today at www.ohiobankersleague.com/summit or contact the OBL’s Susan Poling Jones for more information.
